A bit of history
The Verandah Bistro first opened its doors in October 2006, born from the Christie Family and its owner, Rhea Christie. Originally known as Christies in Stuttaford's Westgate, our story took a new turn when Rhea's son, Paul Christie, took over the family restaurant after her retirement. Inspired by his mother’s legacy, Paul turned it into what you know and love today, The Verandah Bistro, while staying true to the heart of what Miss Rhea built, a place where family values good food and good people.
